Intramural Soccer Program
Level: Novice/ Beginner
This program is intended to introduce soccer to novice players. The ultimate goal is to provide a fun environment where the children learn to love the game of soccer, learn basic fundamental soccer skills, and build a stronger player to continue playing soccer in our recreational and travel programs.
The goal by the end of the Intramural program is for players to be able to have a basic understanding about their job as a soccer player on the field, the general idea of the game, and to master beginner level foot skills.
Fall 2024 IM Program
Practice schedule: 1 hour practice 2 times a week
Games: Saturday morning games between 9am and 12pm against other Saucon Valley teams
Locations: All practices and games are at Polk Valley Park, Hellertown, PA but may change to other Hellertown or Lower Saucon fields
Uniform- Jersey, Soccer socks, shin guards, sneakers/cleats, size 3 ball.
Cost: $75 per player
Sponsored Jerseys: If your business would like to sponsor an Intramural Team, the cost is $250. Your sponsorship will pay for the players' jerseys and go towards the equipment for the team. Your business name will appear on the back of the team jerseys. Your logo and business will receive recognition on our website and social media pages. K- 2nd graders Ages:
U6- Birth year 2019 (Must be in Kindergarten or older)
U7- Birth year 2018
U8- Birth year 2017
*Any player who is 2016-17 AND in 2nd grade may play Intramural OR Recreational as long as they are registered for SVSL Rec program before Blue Mountain Deadlines elapse.
**U6 &U7 will form Coed Division 1 and U8 will form Coed Division 2
This program is coached by vetted community volunteers and licenced coaches. The number of days we can offer this program is determined by the number of volunteers that we have. Please consider being a volunteer coach or assistant coach and click the link below to fill out a short form.
Spring 2024 IM Program
Schedule: 1 hour combined practice & game on Sunday afternoons
Dates: April 7, 14, 21, 28, May 5, 19, Rain date June 2
Time: 3:30pm or 5pm
Games: Against other Saucon Valley teams
Location: TBD, Hellertown, PA
Uniform- Jersey, Soccer socks, shin guards, sneakers/cleats, size 3 ball.
Cost- $65 Registration closes March 10th
